Why I’m here

Life / Monday, November 27th, 2017

Hello internet!

This is my first post, I’m the laid off scientist. It’s odd being ‘laid off‘ and still showing up to work until June.

I currently, or did(?) teach Human Anatomy and Physiology Labs, Forensic Biology, Evolution, and Apocalypse Survival courses at a small liberal arts college hidden in the hills of West Virginia.

I loved my job and my students loved me. It’s an odd feeling working so hard everyday to be told by the brand-new administration you and 29 others were being laid off due to ‘marketing issues.’ I can’t say I’m not suspicious but, it is what it is.

We just purchased a new home in July, 2017 – and I’m part of a very small teaching niche, so my employment options must change. I’m looking into many options I’ll share with all of you (Real Estate, Uber, Swagbucks, VIPKids, and Blogging).

I hope enjoy my interesting tidbits.
Please subscribe. We’ll keep you entertained.
